During her studies, she volunteered for the UW Urban Canid Project, where she learned more about working with wildlife in the field. One of his most promising technicians, Moriah Marwitz, graduated from UW Madison in 2018 with a degree in Wildlife Ecology and a certificate in Environmental Studies. Marcus hired an intelligent and dedicated crew to assist him in his new journey. Upon graduation, Marcus launched Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control in Milwaukee and expanded into Madison in 2020. Additionally, Marcus has worked closely with students from the UW School of Veterinary Medicine to monitor diseases circulating among urban wildlife. With this valuable insight, Marcus participated in a research project designed to implement proactive, humane wildlife management in urban settings, for both homeowners and businesses. Through his education and career path, Marcus has interacted with many community members in Madison, Middleton, and Monona, learning first-hand about their interactions with urban wildlife. His graduate project – The UW Urban Canid Project – introduced him to the fox and coyote habitat, which he completed in 2017. Marcus Mueller, owner of Skedaddle’s first US Franchise in Milwaukee, began his wildlife journey studying wildlife biology at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Over the past few years, Madison has played an integral part in Skedaddle’s growth. Recognized as one of the most livable cities in Wisconsin, Madison is home to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, one of the highest-rated public universities in the country. Madison is the capital city of Wisconsin and is the commercial hub for many prominent surrounding cities, including Waunakee, Sun Prairie, and Cottage Grove.
